MONACO MEETINGS SCHEDULED FOR G-14

G-14 clubs will gather in Monaco to set their priorities for the starting season, holding both Management Committee and General Assembly meetings on next 28 and 29 August.

-Management Committee : August 28, 12h-15h (Hotel Metropole)

Wednesday, August 20th 2003

The General Assembly has the legal duty to nominate the members of the G-14 management committee. This entity is the intermediary echelon between the global strategic, policy and consensual decisions of the General Assembly and the focused and illustrative actions of the operational structure (Brussels-based). The G-14 Management Committee, the Chairman of which is elected together with four Vice Chairmen, therefore gives the strategic instructions to the General Manager in accordance with the General Assembly statements.

Conversely, the Management Committee can propose, explain or present any kind of strategic, financial, commercial, operational or policy proposals which are considered to be of help, support, contribution or necessity for the grouping. Positions within this entity are held for a two-year term, with renewal option. The Management Committee meets at regular intervals during the year and acts as chief spokesperson for the group.

-General Assembly : August 29, 10h-13h (Hotel Metropole, Room Edouard VII)

At the highest hierarchical level, G-14 is governed by a General Assembly, attended by all member clubs, which will be convened at least four times a year. Within this annual schedule, one of these fixtures is also dedicated to approving the accounts of the previous financial year (the G-14 financial year runs from July 1 to June 30 to coincide with the football season). The meeting will be held at the Metropole Hotel (4, Av. de la Madone, 98007 Monaco) with the following points on the Agenda (subject to modification):

1.Examination and approval of the G-14 EEIG financial statements as of 30/06/03

2.G-14 statutes revision : feedback and final recommendations

3.FIFA matters :
-Clubs’ inclusion in FIFA World Cup Revenue distribution scheme

-Interim report

Notes:
The meeting will end approximately at 13h00. G-14 representatives may be available for one to one interview sessions.
