Powerhouse Networks – Univision, Telefutura and Galavision – To Broadcast 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup

Miami, FL -- Univision, America's leading Spanish-language television network, TeleFutura, America's fastest growing Spanish-language Network, and Galavision, the nations #1 Spanish-language cable network, will broadcast the highly anticipated FIFA Confederations Cup competitions throughout the month of June. Beginning Wednesday, June 18 at 7pm ET/PT, the unprecedented leaders in championship soccer bring Hispanic TV viewers more of their favorite sport.
The FIFA Confederations Cup is the second most prestigious international soccer competition next to the FIFA World Cup. France, the defending Confederations Cup Champion, the reigning European Champion, and host of the 2003 tournament is joined by: Cameroon, Colombia, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States, the reigning champions of their respective confederations; Brazil, the winner of the 2002 FIFA World Cup; as well as Turkey, invited to join in recognition of its 3rd place performance at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
As the top teams from all over the globe meet in a world play-off, the powerhouse networks - Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision – will broadcast all of the FIFA Confederations Cup matches as follows:
